Two samosas and a Mango Lassi

February 23rd, 2009

I was at the Philly train station with my dad, my aunt, uncle, and their two kids.

We went to this Indian fast food place for lunch, and we ordered, and this Indian guy comes out with a big tray of samosas and smiles at me. I think nothing of it, and we sit down so that I’m facing the Indian place.

The entire time we were sitting there all the guys who were working there were smiling at me and waving, especially the guy who had the tray, who looked to be about 35 at the least (I’m 16). It was really awkward, as my dad was right there.

My aunt would be talking to me, and I would have to try very hard not to look up at the counter behind her.

When we left I gave them a wave :)

It was pretty hilarious.

  1. I’ve eaten there and I pass through that station a lot.

I guess this’ll give me something to think about the next time I go by.

  2. I would’ve wondered if they had done something nasty to my food… like jizzed in it or something…
