I was on my way home from work with a colleague. As the bus was packed, we had to stand along the aisle. There was this guy standing between my colleague and I. Then the hit-on attempt starts.

First he starts by asking,

GUY : Are you very cold?
ME : Er… still alright.
GUY : ‘Cause I see you wearing your jacket. (Like. DUH!.)
ME : ….. er. ya.

He stops talking. For a while. Next he attempts to talk to me again.

GUY : Whats the time?
ME : (Sees that he is wearing a watch and wonders why, but still gave him the time.) 630pm.

Tried to grab my colleague’s attention, but no luck.

I immediately text my colleague, who all this while was just standing and not helping, asking for help.

text : help me! strange china man is trying to talk to me!

Colleague looks over. Nothing.

Bus starts getting less packed. We moved away from the guy, and he follows! He even stood in front of me!

But I think he got the hint after my colleague started to talk to me.

Ever since then, I’ve stopped talking the bus at that time, fearing I would see the same guy.
