I was on my way to work one morning and some creepy old black man walks near me. I speed up a little and I know I’ve gotten farther away because his stench wasn’t as strong anymore. Seconds later, he yells out “MMM MMM! DAMN WOMAN! You sure know how to give a man yellow fever!” My eyes widened and I didn’t know how to react but it was sure as hell funny! The funny thing was I wasn’t wearing anything too revealing — just a cardigan, t-shirt underneath with slacks on.

Sometimes I wonder to myself… do men hit on me because I’m Asian and they think we’re the passive exotic type or do they just hit on any woman that has legs?
